Our client is a HKEX listed conglomerate with strong business presence globally. They are now looking to add to their team an Accountant to strength their capability in group financial reporting and consolidation. The candidate will be part of a team of accounting professionals in the group office, with good exposure to different business entities.
The job:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation for the group
- Conduct consolidation, intercom and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with HKFRS and Listing Rules
- Assist with year‑end audit and liaise with external auditors
- Coordinate with subsidiaries on reporting and accuracy
- Support financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis where needed
- Assist with ad‑hoc projects related to transformation or process improvements
The candidate:
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (HKICPA / ACCA / CPA / equivalent)
- At least 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a listed company environment
- Working experience of ERP system (Oracle, Hyperion or a major ERP)
- Hands‑on experience in group consolidation is essential
- Good knowledge of HKFRS & financial reporting standards
- Strong attention to detail & ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills in English, Cantonese & Mandarin
