Our client is a leading Fintech company expanding their footprint in Hong Kong. They are seeking a Director of Digital Transformation to lead large-scale transformation initiatives across the organization, driving AI adoption alongside modernization of core systems, platforms, and operating models.
The role:
- Define and execute enterprise digital transformation strategy spanning AI, core systems, IT operations, cloud, and data platforms
- Lead cross-functional teams across IT, engineering, data, and AI delivery
- Drive AI/GenAI, automation, and digital platform initiatives (e.g., CRM, ERP, payments, risk systems)
- Oversee IT operations and service delivery, embedding Agile, DevOps, and product-driven models
- Contribute to ongoing enterprise-wide cybersecurity, IT risk, governance, and DR frameworks
- Champion data-driven decision-making with strong governance and analytics capabilities
- Lead process re-engineering, change management, and enterprise adoption
- Manage senior stakeholders, vendors, and strategic technology partners
- Track transformation KPIs and business impact
The right candidate:
- Degree holder in a relevant discipline
- 10+ years in technology leadership and transformation
- Proven delivery of enterprise digital programs (systems, cloud, platforms) and AI initiatives
- Strong knowledge of architecture, data, cloud, and integration (APIs/microservices)
- Solid background in IT project management with strong knowledge of operations and governance
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale change and cross-functional teams
- Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen
- Fluent in English and Chinese
