Our client which is a global corporate and investment bank is looking for a Solutions Specialist in the areas of Collateral, Valuation and Margin services.

Responsibilities

Client-facing Expert Support:

  • Establish constructive dialogue and maintain relationship of trust with our Clients and partners.
  • During the client relationship
    • Maintenance of Client's agreement, SLA, Fee schedules (in coordination with Global Product Managers)
    • Lead service level change requests and coordinate with the other stakeholders where relevant
  • Act as point of escalation on service level issues related to Collateral Access services. Analyse and provide clear and detailed explanation on gap in the services provided and our SLA:
    • Request for information received from our clients or by the internal teams
    • Proactive request from third parties
    • Collateral Management disputes raised by the Collateral Management team
  • Act as SME to address complex queries arising from Transaction management, Collateral Management, Valuation, Portfolio Reconciliation services, etc.
  • Coordinate where needed the implementation of new request from clients: new products to be valued, new service, etc.

Solutions Design and Development: Follow-up and development of our offer

  • Manage the roll-out of Solutions for APAC clients on the Collateral Access, Valuation and Margin domain
  • Contribute in providing comprehensive documentation for our suite of services (SLA, Product slip sheet, …) in partnership with relevant Product Managers
  • Contribute to the periodical review of our fee schedules
  • Contribute to the Global Product Roadmap
  • As an extention of our service offering: be a driving force for proposals contributing to onboarding project implementation, in collaboration with our partners and IT teams (definition of functional requirements, validation of the business requirements, etc…)
  • Collaborate with Global Product Managers related to the assessment of our current and identification of new and potential Client partnerships
  • Partner with Global Product Managers and Management to continuously enhance, evolve, improve and deliver service solutions

Participation to business development and contribution to the presale process

  • Assist Business Development team during presentations to clients and prospects in order to demonstrate the capabilities and expertise of other services teams for the Collateral, Valuation and Margin suite of services
  • Contribute to the RFP and business case during opportunity / qualification phase,
  • Contribute to the Tender process, in close cooperation with Business Development team: service description, test valuation with our partners, fee schedule, etc…

Management of Client Onboarding Needs

  • Coordinate the overall On-boarding process for the Collateral and Valuation services (Transaction Management, Collateral Management, Reporting) in collaboration with Client Delivery Teams and IT, and potentially with other units such as Collateral Management, Fund Administration, etc.)
  • Contribute to, formulate and validate the Service Level delivered to Clients: including contribution to the SLA and acting as point of escalation for related issues.
  • Design and implement customized solutions for Client, in liaison with Client Delivery and Project teams
  • Manage Trade Integration tests and results analysis to provide feedback to clients
  • Periodic review of Client portfolios and identify potential service gaps, proposing new solutions, where appropriate to mitigate these gaps

Training / Communication

  • Continuous Cross-Training and Development to and from colleagues on Collateral, Valuation and Margin services within the team and related Service Delivery partners (collateral teams, trade support, fund administration, etc.)
  • Facilitate the internal dashboard and activity monitoring
  • Participate in regional and global management meetings

Requirements

  • Required:
    • A minimum of 7 years working experience in diversified disciplines of OTC Derivatives, including Transaction Management, OTC Valuation, Collateral Management, Margining and/or OTC Middle Office management, at major international banks
    • Good derivatives products knowledge and front-to-back process including trade lifecycle, collateral management and valuation
    • Good understanding of valuation control and parameters of complex products
    • Strong Communication and Inter-personal skills, ability to build strong relationships across partners and clients
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel such as pivot tables and VBA
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a strong control environment
    • Self-Starter and has ability to work under pressure
  • Desired:
    • Ability to perform investigation of pricing discrepancies
    • Knowledge of market data tools such as Bloomberg or Reuters
    • Working knowledge of Calypso or equivalent (Summit/ Murex) is beneficial
