Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily report review and account monitoring and liaise with Account Executives (AE) to obtain relevant information for credit due diligence
- Communicate effectively with sales team on the follow-up action on credit control related issues
- Conduct and comment assessments on credit limit proposals and act as a maker to adjust the client approved limit in the trading system
- Obtain the proper approval for those accounts in accordance with credit policies and procedures
- Set up or create templates for reporting
- Collect the statistical data on credit risk analysis
- Perform ad hoc assignments and handle special projects with credit related issues from time to time required by management
- Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports on time and perform clerical duty
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance / Risk Management / other related disciplines (FRM or CFA preferred). Minimum 7 years relevant working experience is required if the candidate is not a degree holder
- Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management, preferably in financial institutions
- Good knowledge in equity market and derivatives products
- Possess strong credit analytical skills
- Strong proficiency in VBA and Excel-Macro
- Proficient in MS Office application and Chinese word processing
- Good communication skills and good telephone manner
- Excellent report writing skills in Chinese
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese with fluency in Mandarin; knowledge of Simplified Chinese a plus
- Efficient, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
- Immediate Available is highly preferred
- Less experience may be considered as Associate Director or Vice President
