A leading insurance company is looking for Cloud and Platform Architect to join their team.

Job duties:

Set strategy and develop roadmap for cloud, platform and infrastructure architecture refresh to support business initiatives
Provide architecture governance to ensure proper use of cloud infrastructure architecture designs for all projects
Make sure various teams (Group and Local Enterprise Architecture teams as well as project teams) understand requirement and propose artifacts for cloud infrastructure architecture designs, blueprints, design patterns etc.
Evaluate project constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform process re-engineering if required
Engage with Group and local teams to regularly review compliance status
Develop DR plans for business-critical systems and applications, review business impact analysis reports and conduct assessment sessions
Assist in crisis management and/ or DR Drill as BCM SME in the event of a business interruption/ Drill exercise
Review and improve the architecture design for better performance and cost efficiency

Requirements:

Degree holder in IT / Computer Science or equivalent discipline
Over 10 years in the IT industry with Infrastructure functions, with at least 5 years in architecture & design role
Independent, able to work with remote teams and manage multiple projects well
Familiar with LAN/WAN design, DevOps, hybrid and public cloud integration
Solid experience in cloud and infrastructure architecture designs with strong technical knowledge in Azure/AWS/GCP/AliCloud within large enterprises, preferably FSI/banking
Relevant Certifications such as TOGAF and Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Fluent in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus
