Our client, an Online Insurtech Company, Co-founded by China's most notable business magnates, is currently hiring Actuarial Director / Actuarial Senior Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to Chief Actuary, and to oversee and ensure good management of local solvency positions and financial reporting standards. Ensure visibility of and proactive response to emerging issues
- Ensure appropriate controls and frameworks are established to manage insurance and ALM risk, and meet the internal risk management standards
- Lead the implementation of IFRS 17 reporting standards and RBC development
- Interact with other teams, involve in business discussion on transforming insurance industry
- Determine assumptions and valuation basis; Analyze financial statement; provide explanation and recommendation
- Develop business projection for budget and business plan
- Work with internal and external auditors during regular audit
REQUIREMENTS:
- Attained Fellowship qualification in actuarial professional
- At least 8 years’ experience in actuarial operation
- Experience and knowledge in HK reporting, ALM and other actuarial risk management tasks
- Maintain good collaboration with the insurance regulator
- Good team building and coaching skills, communication skill, and problem solving skill
- Strong believe in digital insurance model
- Sound knowledge in IFRS17 is an advantage
