A leading IT solution provider is looking for Presales Architect to join their team.
Responsibilities:
⦁ Provide support to client partner(s) on complex Hong Kong Government deals, aligned to customer strategy, goals and needs
⦁ Take accountability of end-to-end solution and provide advisory and guidance for high-level solutions and architecture, and evaluate the possible technical options for bid team
⦁ Gather client's requirements and propose the best-fit solutions to fulfil customers' needs
⦁ Collaborate with right stakeholders from different category teams internally in articulating customer pain points to support right prioritization and development solutions
⦁ Define and identify alternate solutions (third party, or process) in collaboration with client partner to meet customer need
⦁ Ensure that customer solutions design is within technical strategic direction and make recommendations for strategy change and improvement. Publish and share discovery and solution design proposal documentations across all business units as appropriate
⦁ Involve in the formulation of bids, RFI's, RFP's, RFQ's. Present high-level technical solutions and provide pre-sales support to Client partner(s) and the customer on technology/technical matters
⦁ Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of competitive information, new emerging technologies, technical standards, development methodologies, and innovations in the industry.
Requirements:
⦁ Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines
⦁ At least 10 years' experience in solution architecture / solution consulting / System design and design of complex application development projects, of which 5 years' experience in presales/solution consultant role preferred
⦁ Experience in early/bidding stage solutioning, analysis and design of mega applications projects, such as application development involving huge amount of user, design of enterprise-grade infrastructure/ cloud platform, AI, Big data etc.
⦁ Experience in Public Sector/ Hong Kong Government projects preferred
⦁ Positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic, able to perform in a challenging environment
⦁ Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
⦁ Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
