Our client is a leading Fintech company expanding their team here in HK. The IT Director will be the forefront of the IT team for the group and is responsible for leading a high performing team of IT professionals, consisting of various sub-teams.
The role
- Plan & strategize IT direction for the group
- Lead a team of IT professionals in performing daily systems support, application development, IT service delivery
- Drive changes and digitalization across various IT domains
- Review existing systems & architecture with a goal to identify areas for enhancement
- Enhance information security framework & incident management investigations
- Manage IT Risk, DR planning & ensure business processes align with established governance
- Ensure effective use of resources (Data centers, Cloud, Servers)
- Identity & introduce best practices for IT department (CI/CD, SDLC, SLA)
- Manage internal stakeholders & external vendors
The right candidate:
- Bachelor's degree holder in a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in an IT leadership role in IT Operations/ Development
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure frameworks, security, software development, production support
- Familiar with IT methodologies and workflows
- Proven track record of completing digitalization projects in a sizeable organization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide solutions to multi-faceted problems
- Proficient in English, Chinese
