Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT Infrastructure operation engineers and data centre operatorsOversee end-to-end operations and monitoring of Data Centre IT infrastructure
- Act as the escalation point of DC operators and high severity DC incidents
- Ensure all activities align with service level agreements (SLAs) and internal
policies - Manage and monitor data centre IT infrastructure including servers, storage and
networking - Analyse customer data centre IT Services information and provide performance
enhancing recommendations - Oversee routine maintenance, updates, and patch management
- Manage incident, problem, and change management processes based on ITIL
standards - Communicate with various users, technical teams and stakeholders on incident,
problem and change management - Chair or participate in the DC IT Services related meetings
- Respond to outages and service disruptions, ensuring minimal downtime
- Participate in and manage ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement
initiatives - Manage staff scheduling, task assignments, and performance reviews
- Prepare regular reports on infrastructure health, incidents, and capacity planning
- Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, and infrastructure diagrams
- Ensure 24x7 operational readiness, availability, and escalation managem
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldsMinimum 10 years' experience in Telco/ICT industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of data centre operations, infrastructure, and environmental systems
- Familiarity with server, storage and network services operation
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Prince2) are an advantage
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making skills and customer service
orientation - Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
