A leading Insurance company is looking for results-driven Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. You will will leverage advanced analytical techniques and machine learning models to drive business decisions, optimize processes, and enhance customer experiences.
Job Duties:
- Apply advanced statistical techniques to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and build predictive models to draw insights
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems in agent performance, and policy optimization. Work with algorithms such as decision trees, SVM, clustering, ensemble methods, and deep learning models.
- Ensure data quality by cleaning, transforming, and processing large datasets from multiple sources.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, including agency leaders, product managers, and IT to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions.
- Create impactful presentations and data story-telling to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics.
- At least 5 years' experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in the insurance sectors.
- Strong coding skills, proficient in Python and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and modeling methods.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing machine learning models in production environments.
- Strong ability to work with large, complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
