Job Description

Executive Assistant (Tourism)

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting in arranging disbursement of the time-limited conservation and education subvention of the subject park and monitoring the spending position;
  2. Assisting in the liaison with the subject park in relation to accounting and financial matters, and the checking of figures and other submissions provided by the subject park for the preparation of briefs, such as the monthly financial and operation results, quarterly financial forecasts, ten years’ financial forecasts, funding gap analysis, financial forecast/analysis, annual audited accounts and master budget;
  3. Assisting in the liaison with relevant parties in relation to daily, monthly, yearly and golden weeks’ attendance records of certain Hong Kong tourist attractions, and assist seniors in conducting cross checking and in-depth analysis;
  4. Providing executive support in promoting the development of smart tourism, overseeing the operation of certain attractions, and providing support and facilitation for the Hong Kong Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions and its member attractions;
  5. Assisting in assessing the shortlisted applications under the Pilot Scheme for Characteristic Local Tourism Events of the Hong Kong Tourism Board; and
  6. Performing any other duties as may be directed by senior officers.

 

Qualifications

Candidates should have

 

  1. a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region or equivalent;

 

  1. good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, with Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent1;

 

  1. good interpersonal skills and be able to cope with tight working schedules; and

 

  1. at least one year of full-time post-degree working experience, preferably in auditing or accounting. Working experience in the Government and/or pubic organisations is an advantage.
