An exceptional opportunity to direct and manage the overall operations of a major bank in China / HK including Corporate banking, Treasury, Retail banking and contact center operations.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate the overall strategies to support the Hong Kong and Mainland China business operations of the Bank Group in achieving business targets.
- Minimize operating cost and maximize scale benefits through in-sourcing and centralization of operation functions from the Bank Group.
- Manage the general operation and customer contact center covering the services of hotlines, telemarketing, data processing, and risk & compliance operations.
- Develop and organize business plans, financial budgets and staff development plans; build and maintain an engaging and effective work environment and workforce.
- Maintain good relationship with regulators, internal and external business partners.
- Report to the board of directors on financial status and operational achievements.
Requirements:
- University degree or above in banking, finance or related disciplines.
- At least 15 years' experience in banking or business process outsourcing, of which at least 10 years of relevant work experience in managing a sizable operation.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations; work experience in Mainland China would be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, analytical, planning, organizing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua.
